We followed a 1,022 mile JOGLE or LEJOG cycling route, adapting the Ride across Britain route to avoid some of the bigger towns and cities.

It's hard to believe, but it’s done already! The time has absolutely flown. 1022 miles cycled in 88.5 hours. We cycled from John O’ Groats to Cornwall, England and climbed 52,537.

Day eleven and we're back on the saddle! The sun was shining bright, which meant it was BOILING first thing, then terribly humid later. I was grumpy for the first thirty miles!

We took one rest day on our trip. We took it in Kendal where we enjoyed a pretty lazy day - we slept in, we swam then we went for dinner in Wetherspoons after.

This morning was exceptionally organised. We ate breakfast at 8am because we wanted an early start. The aim of the day was to get to a pub and watch the game!

Today we woke up in a Hindu Temple! We went for breakfast with the chef and gardener at who served us curry and rice with porridge and fruit.

It’s hard to believe we’ve sat on the bike for 6 days in a row! We're both feeling better than we thought we would. It feels like day 3, but now we've climbed over 20,000 feet!

Today we headed into the mountains along the A82. We climbed up to the top of Ranoch moor and it was amazing. We cycled between the mountains for around twenty miles.

On the 21st April I’ll be taking a train from Telford all the way up to Wick in the north of Scotland to begin my John O’ Groats to Lands End ride along the west coast of the UK.
