JOGLE Day 11: Kendal To Wigan
Kendal to Wigan
Back on the saddle this morning!
It was BOILING first thing then terribly humid so I had a grump on for 30 Miles!
We cycled 75 Miles from Kendal to Wigan – I managed to cycle myself in after about 30 miles and I enjoyed the last 45.
With the weather being so hot we managed to get through at least 6 litres of water. At times we took a break just to sit down and drink! It’s definitely getting hotter the further south we travel.
Along the way we took some lovely photos, I struggled to pick 10 today. We had a quieter day mostly along back roads, there was a decent elevation today too – about 3000ft.

Good job I’m only planning to cycle a fraction of the distances you guys were achieving – I’d have to hide out from the heat of the day in the nearest pub, I reckon, or I’d fry Mab’s brains (what little amount there are of them!).
