Caversham Wildlife Park

Caversham Wildlife Park in Perth is best described as a native safari park or zoo.

We visited with Liam. Exploring the park was a lovely introduction to Australian wildlife.

Though, I could’ve done without meeting the Common Death Adder, who inhabits the entire South Coast of Aus…which is exactly where we’re cycling 🐍🙃

I’m quite happy to report that snakes are hibernating through the winter so we’re highly unlikely to come across one.

Caversham Wildlife Park is home to 200 species, and more than 2000 animals, birds, and reptiles.

The park had quite a few white (maybe albino) Kangaroos 🦘. Assumedly, rescued as they’re quite the target to prey hopping around the outback! It turns out that every 1/50,000 to 1/100,000 kangaroos are white/albino.
