Whatta Team – WE DID IT
4,800 miles cycled marks 20% of our trip complete and 20% of donations in!
Crazy, crazy, crazy!!!!!!
At 10% and at 2,400 miles I said I had no idea how we’d get the next 10% but somehow we’ve done it!
Thank you so much to all of you on Facebook who comment on this page, invite friends to like and tell your friends about our trip, Leanne and Cardiac Risk in the Young.
With the most special of thank yous to those who have donated and those of you who share posts. Both make an incredible difference. A simple share goes a long way – you’d be surprised!
The money raised means the world to us and I love having the charity layer associated with the bike ride.
Most importantly, the difference it makes to Cardiac Risk in the Young is huge and I know for sure your money is spent so well within that charity.
Well…as I said before…I have no idea how we’ll get the next 10% but let’s keep going and hope for the best! 😁
If anyone has any genius ideas or can help in anyway then do let us know!
Oh and before I end this post, a massive well done to my friends and Leanne’s family back home who had a night of singing, dancing and remembering our special friend on the 7th…they raised over £1150 in memory of Leanne and the Leanne Brownhill Memorial Fund has now raised over £17,000. That is incredible.
Leanne’s mum, Lynne Brownhill said
“People who hadn’t attended the ball before were quite impressed that bar staff were all wearing CRY t shirts and we had all the stuff from CRY. The band who played kindly donated their travel expenses and there are big plans for 2021!”
Stew and I best get a wiggle on and make sure we’re back for that!
I wonder if we’ll smash £20,000 collectively before Stew and I get home! Seems feasible, what do you reckon??? 😜
