We Have Made It To Bukhara
we could not be happier to lay our eyes on a bed, a toilet and a shower.
Uzbekistan is fantastic, but I never want to cycle here again!
It is a mixed bag of emotions and experience. From dry desert lands to cities like Khiva, which take your breath away.
It is populated with some of the warmest people we’ve met, juxtaposed with those who try unfairly to charge you over the hilt for products and services – more on that later.
It is home to the most beautiful sunsets, some of our longest days in the saddle, but also the most difficult and broken roads and the worst saddle sore of my life!
Uzbekistan is a place that we will never forget. It’s been hell of a challenge so far, and we’ve still got over 350 miles to go.
Can’t wait to update you all fully later! Prepare for some posts & stories.
First, shower! I’ve literally never stank so bad!
