The Perfect End To Thailand
Dinner tonight was the perfect way to (almost) complete our Thailand adventure.
We rolled into La-ngu simply because it was on route. We were expecting just to eat and sleep, but at dinner we ended up having a wholesome time.
First our menu was presented and an order form for us to write our order, but with everything in Thai we had no chance. Lucky for us, a very kind diner nearby could speak English and helped us. He wrote our order and added our “not spicy” request 😅
After dinner, the staff, in giggles, asked us if they could take our picture. They wanted a thumbs up of us at the table. We happily obliged. Then, they ask if can they take a picture of us in front of their signage? Of course!
There was a lot of laughter as we posed for the pictures and were happy to do so as the food was delicious!
Since one good turn deserves another I asked the staff if they would allow us a photo so we could remember this lovely evening. And they were too happy to do so.
We added each other to Instagram before we set off back to our hotel.
We couldn’t have asked for a better send off, to be honest. From the delicious food to the wonderful staff and helpful customers who made sure we had everything we needed. ❤️
I wasn’t going to post three times today, but this was too lovely to share in real time.
Tomorrow we cross the border to Malaysia and I cannot believe we will be entering country number 24.
