The Gap, Albany
If not for our taxi driver we would not have known about The Gap and Natural Bridge.
Everyone who comes here goes there, he told us.
It was on route to the Whaling Station so we figured we might aswell go.
Let me tell you, it was FREEZING that day. 🥶 We literally ran to the points, took a look and a picture and ran back to the heated taxi. Stew even took pictures of the information signs as it was too uncomfortably cold to stand there and read them.
The Natural Bridge was very impressive. It’s a large, stone bridge , caused by the waves lapping away at the granite rock. It was a bit of a ‘woah’ moment seeing it, especially because we had zero expectations. The Gap was cool, too, but it was a bit scary standing above it and looking down at the waves crashing in!
