Warm Hosts In Albania

We’ve been so well looked after in Albania. Stew is still recovering from his injuries so we’ve stayed in Krumë – the same hotel Abdullah took us to a couple nights ago.
The hotel manager is so helpful, we have a fan in our rooms and he tells us it we need anything we should ask! We feel very welcome.

Abdullah met us again for coffee this morning and offered to show us the local area. We had a guided tour! Shkelzen (back right) is Abdullah’s cousin, he speaks brilliant English and was able to translate for us. Shkelzen lives in England and spent half a day with us even though he only has 1 week with his family in Albania before he goes back to England.

We first headed out of town and Shkelzen told us about the history of the area. I might try share this with you later. We stopped at a beautiful hotel, this is a popular place to marry and you can see from the pictures why, it’s beautiful.

After we went to a beer garden, then to a delicious restaurant and had a feast – just look at the video! The chicken was so delicious!
Although Stew’s injuries are far from ideal, they have opened the door to a wonderful couple of days with really good people. Every cloud…!
