Hello Kosovo!

Hello all!

It’s taken me such a long time to update this blog post it’s not got images or stats because the WiFi is on and off! I’ll go back and add those if/when I can. I’ve got a tonne of photos to add but WiFi hasn’t been good enough since Croatia to get them live! I’ve made a couple of attempts and failed and there’s only so much a girl can take! 😝

We’re now out of Albania and enjoying Kosovo!! After Stew’s injuries we’ve been keeping mileage low, only riding 20 miles a day for the last 2 days. Stew found it relatively easy today so if it goes well tomorrow we might do more.

I know it’s really miserable in England right now, well it’s super hot here! Expected to be 25 degrees until 1am!! The worst part about it is that our alarm goes off at 5:30am so we can get some cooler miles in before the midday sun!

Today we arrived in Kosovo, first impressions of Kosovo are that it’s very nice. Rivers are heavily littered though ☹️ – there’s way more money here compared to Albania. People seem friendly – we’ve been beeped quite a lot and waved at.

A blog post on our final thoughts on Albania can be found here! Albania has been so kind to us and we’ve loved hearing about how much Albanians love England! In bars and on houses Albanians proudly fly the Union Jack next to their flag!!
