Hello Croatia!
And here we are in country number 6!! We have crossed the border into Croatia!
Lucky for us the rain held off almost all day! This afternoon we pulled into a supermarket just in the nick of time – as soon as we dismounted the heavens opened and we sat the downpour out.
We set ourselves an unambitious target of 30 miles today, giving us time to enjoy the Skocijan caves before making tracks to Croatia.
I was SO tired yesterday I didn’t imagine I’d have much in the tank today plus the forecast is constantly awful so we thought a short day would be just what the doctor ordered!
Turns out today was a breeze!! We had miles and miles left in us, but committed to our pre-paid hotel we hit the brakes in Pasjak and we’ve had a steady evening, relaxing in our hotel room. All is not lost 😊
Tomorrow…we’re leaving it open ended we’ll just cycle until we’re done and see where we end up! 🤷🏽♀️
Let the Croatian adventures begin!! We’re in for some tough climbs guys, but I can’t wait for those beautiful coastal views!
Don’t forget we’re cycling in part for Cardiac Risk in the Young and we’d love to hit our ambitious target of £5,000 – donate link: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/aroundtheworldforcry
