Hello Albania!

Yesterday we rolled into Albania, country number 9!

We’ve been resting up for a day – much needed after the last couple days.

Not in the blog: Yesterday while looking for our apartment we bumped into Alion who used to live in London. He speaks great English! He’s been so helpful! Alion helped us find our hotel and check in, he carried our bikes, met us in the evening and showed us where we can eat a meal. He showed us the bakery and supermarket and now he is seeing if he can help us today!

We’re thinking we’ll head out for dinner this evening!

A great place so far! I can confidently say we’ve left total familiarity behind us, things are a bit different now as we enter phase 2 of the trip. We are back on the bikes tomorrow and it’s 31 degrees – we’re already thinking early starts will make the cycling a little easier!
