Four Months On The Road

Well today marks 4 months on the road with my best friend and boyfriend. 🥰⁣⁣
⁣⁣
For the last 4 months we’ve been living on our bicycles, moving to a new place almost every single day. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We’ve dealt with sickness and injury on the road. We’ve experienced beautiful parts of the world together and endured some tough days too! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We’ve been cycling almost daily for a total of 123 days. We’ve cycled to 93 different locations and of course, we spend everyday in pretty close proximity!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We often get asked if we ever fall out or how we manage with different cycling styles.⁣ well the short answer is no never and easily.⁣
⁣⁣
Stew and I both love cycling and we love each other.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We were both cycling before we met each other and although we spend our days cycling together now there’s plenty of “me” time. Stew is a faster cyclist and he’s always a few meters ahead. He stops frequently to check in, then we carry on with the day joining together properly for lunch and snacks.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Whatever happens, Stew and I always remember that this is an adventure and we’re in it together. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We support each other through the challenging moments, which are different for both of us. There’s always time to stop, or take a day off if one needs it.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We don’t get impatient with each other and you just let the niggly-moments pass you by.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
As Stew once said: “it’s simple, just don’t be a dick”.⁣⁣
