Behiç’s, A Fantastic Warmshowers Host
Hello all!
We are having such a fantastic time in Turkey – I’ve been a bit rubbish at updates lately because I’ve not been 100%, but back on track now!
Please enjoy this blog post about a fantastic warmshowers host and I’ll tell you about the wonderful group we met this evening tomorrow!
We hadn’t stayed with a warmshowers host since Slovenia, so you can imagine how thrilled we were when Behiç (picture 4) accepted us into his home.
In one evening we wandered around Kastamonu (pictures 1-2), went out for dinner (picture 3) and were introduced to Behiç’s wonderful, kind and hospitable friends, Can, Guzin, Omer, and Pinar.

The evening spent with Behiç and his friends will be one of the strongest memories of our trip.
It was a perfect evening towards the end of our cycling days through Turkey – it really encompasses everything that Turkey has to offer.
The next day we hoped to cycle together but it didn’t work out. We did manage to catch up with Can (picture 5) for a chat on route to our next stop.
