Back Into Civilisation, Uzbekistan

Yesterday we left the desert and found ourselves back amongst the greenery. It’s been a while.⁣
⁣
Surprised to say I was quite disappointed. I really loved the desert cycling, but not to worry there’s plenty more where that came from.⁣
⁣
With greenery came people, with people came cars and with cars came traffic noise and speeding.⁣
⁣
On the flip side being back into civilisation means that we can find food more easily again, these melon traders sold us an entire melon for 5000 som (0.40p). A few miles into our ride and Stew was flagged down by a man who offered us more melon.⁣
⁣
As we ate our second portion of melon for the day we spotted these ducks. Quite a coincidental sight as that morning we were saying we couldn’t remember the last time we saw a duck! ⁣
