We’re Engaged!! 💍

After five and half years of (impatiently) waiting, Stew proposed to me in Queenstown, New Zealand.

This “Yes,” came even easier than when he invited me to cycle around the world one month into dating.

He proposed in a gondola as we made our way up the steepest cable car lift in the Southern Hemisphere! It really was steep!!

I never would’ve guessed Stew would propose there, the beautiful location made sense, but gondolas (especially steep ones) are not Stew’s most comfortable place. 🚡 He told me after he had to do the proposal asap when in there. 😅

At the top we enjoyed the gorgeous views, some tea and cake and a couple luge rides down the mountain which was better than we imagined, and very memorable!

When asked how many luge rides we wanted, Stew said, “the minimum amount” 😂 which made us all laugh but we could’ve gone down a few more times and I can see how a family could have a brilliant day out there.

We left with one of those stamped coins to remember the moment 🥰
