Well It’s Nearly Christmas – Where Has The Time Gone!?
We’ve been on the road for 9 months cycling almost daily and Christmas Day will be no exception…
Visa time is a little tight, but there’s enough wriggle room! We need to average 50kms/day everyday to reach the Vietnamese border on time. To keep our days off for later on we’re cycling on Christmas Day, but our shift on the bike won’t be void of Christmas spirit. We’ve been carrying this little gingerbread man since we left home. Last year he was on our first Christmas tree and this year he’s exploring China!

When I started Instagram I don’t know what I was after – a place to record our trip, a few followers, a few interesting accounts to follow. No expectations really.
I’d barely used Instagram before this trip. In fact most of the posts before the trip were put there to give the Instagram some character.
I never expected we’d actually get donations from “strangers” via connections made on Instagram – and what I never expected was to find a whole community of people out there cycling the world. We started off doing something really unique then found many others exploring – just like us.
Even better we connected with people we may never have met without Instagram. Our social circles broadened.
The best part of Instagram goes beyond the social networking site for me. Many of you have become #InstaPals who I absolutely LOVE to chat to on here. We’re lucky that many of you are also in the UK and we’re going to have a busy time travelling the country to meet you all properly when we’re back.🍻 I can’t wait to make some of you insta-pals, real-pals and I’m confident that so many of you will be!
Thanks to everyone here, following the ride and helping to make the journey special! And again a thank you to those who donated.
This was written with many of you in mind. You should know who you are 🥰 I daren’t try tag everyone because I know I’d forget someone!
And for those of you quietly following – drop us a message! I found out today one of our followers is from my hometown Ludlow and will be cycling South America soon!
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR to all ❤
