The River Po, Italy

Yesterday we took a convenient rest day and let the grey clouds pass.

Today we sat back on our saddles and pedalled for a beautiful 75 miles.

We started strong taking down 30 miles in 2 hours then later followed the river Po from Governolo. 🇮🇹 We climbed just 500ft today, (I don’t know where!) so it was an absolute breeze. We could’ve cycled further and we did consider an Airbnb in Ferrara, but this beautiful camp spot was too good to pass up.

We’ve had a lovely day, and now we’re resting after a camp meal listening to the river as we fall asleep. The tent door is open so we can enjoy the breeze.
It is true what they say; the best things in life are free.
