Fresh Bread In Azerbaijan
This lady was a delight!
Encouraged by another cyclist to buy bread from the baker at the bottom of the hill we stopped and picked up a fresh loaf. It was still warm so we ate some immediately and it was delicious!
She was so sweet! They had a lot going on here, fresh bread baked at the roadside and a cafe for tea.
The bread is rolled out as you see, then after it’s placed onto the fire. This lady las the first baker we saw, once we got around the corner there was a 1-2km road with women baking bread on both sides!
