A Wonderful Time In Kotor

I think from my stories and double post today, you can see that we’re having THE BEST time.

Pictured is Irene and Oskana. We met them walking to the fortress. They are from Russia and arrived in a Kotor yesterday, like us. They are travelling until mid-June.

Right now, we’re sipping ice cold beverages…we’ll check in to our apartment shortly and then we’re heading to the ocean for a swim.

Tomorrow we will bike 65 miles, cross the border to Albania and hopefully wildcamp by a lake so we can catch an “Albanian Ferry” first thing the next morning and avoid the awful hotel charges as it’s a very touristy/back-packer area! Still following Marko’s route he has told us to expect something a bit different…super exciting and resisting the urge to Google to keep the element of surprise there.

I’m pretty sure that Albania is going to be hills galore! Maybe the hilliest section of the ride so far, but I’m not sure.
