What A Difference The Weather Makes.

The ice is no more, the clouds have broken and we’re now cycling in glorious, glorious sunshine in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.⁣

The mountain roads are absolutely stunning as you can see. I’ve jumped off my bike several times to push it because they’re pretty long climbs. The downhills are epic and the views fantastic.⁣

It feels like our trip is back, just as we dreamed it.⁣

We’ve found really lovely hotels lately which surprised us. We’ve been a bit nervous about where we might end up staying as we’re cycling through small towns and villages. Much to our surprise we’ve been greeted by lovely hosts, with beautiful hotels, hot showers and warm, soft cosy beds.⁣

Tomorrow we‘ll reach the top of this final mountainous climb in China then we’re roughly 2 days away from the Kunming Stone Forest, which we can’t wait to visit! We’re hoping to find postcards there because we’ve got 2 to send thanks to our very generous donors. ⁣
