We Made It To Singapore!

After a heavy day in the rain, we took an obligatory photo in front of Marina Bay Sands famous hotel. It has a ship on the top of it! I did look at the price to stay incase it was worth it, just for one night, but at £500/night we decided, hell no 😂

Instead we went to an ibis budget 😂

Cycling in such heavy rain, though it had passed here, was a bit demoralising it, at one point we even said, “that’ll do” (no need to go all the way to the south) but we summoned the strength to do it; you’ve just got to, haven’t you!

We’ve made it to Singapore! Absolutely miserable weather all the way, a thunderstorm started about 10am and didn’t stop until 3 but we had to cross the border today. Thankfully it stopped just in time to get some photos at the coast.

It’s taken us a bit longer than expected to get here at 4 years, 2 months and 13 days but it feels good.

We’ve taken 3 fairly short ferries but other than that we’ve cycled all the way.

– Climbed over 640,000 feet along the way.

The bikes are already disassembled and boxed and we’re nearly ready to start the next big step of the trip in Australia. ❤️
