Baku, Not A Bad Place To Be Stuck
Well it turns out that Baku is a pretty special city to get “stuck” in.
With Stew’s stomach not showing much sign of improvement we saw a second medical professional who agreed testing is required.
We’re simply enjoying Baku until we get Stew’s results back.
Baku is the capital city of Azerbaijan. It is also the largest city in Azerbaijan and known to many due of the F1.
We’ve stayed in 2 different parts of the city – most of our time has been spent in the old town which is very beautiful and we’ve stayed outside the old town too.
Tonight we enjoyed walking around the city at night, enjoying the beautiful lights and the light show at the Flame Towers. The light show features a series of changing LED lights on the 3 iconic towers built between 2007 and 2012. The towers light up red/blue and green and feature the Azerbaijani flag. The tallest building is 182m so the show can be seen across the city.
